Poker is an extemely popular card game played by two or more people who bet on the value of the "hand" dealt to them.
A hand is defined as the set of cards dealt to a player in a card game. A player wins the pool (usually money, but it could be anything of value) either by having the highest combination at the showdown or by forcing all opponents to concede without showing their hand, sometimes by means of bluff.
